Our Pastors
Steve Keller
Transitional Pastor
Pastor Steve Keller grew up in Wilmington, NC to a British mother and American Father. His childhood passions were soccer, surfing, fishing and feeding a “pet” Pelican every day after school.
He went off to Appalachian State University where he graduated with a degree in Psychology and a wife Jane, he met through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. They began life together in Wilmington, NC where Steve had his first ministry position as Youth Pastor. He went off to seminary and graduated in 2000.
Along the way, Steve has been a Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor, Associate Pastor, Church planter, Senior Pastor, Transitional Pastor and the traveling Chaplain for NASCAR. He and Jane have lived in Wilmington, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Boston, Virginia Beach and Greeley, CO.
They have 6 children, 3 son-in laws, 1 daughter in law and 4 grandchildren. They love family, laughter, the outdoors, great conversation around the table, music in almost any genre and life with Jesus.
Danny Chandler
Executive Pastor
My wife, Amber, and I have been here at FPC Haines City since 2001. I am responsible for overseeing the nursery, children’s ministry, youth ministry, and college and career-age ministry at FPC. I also partner with our Deacons to provide congregational care to our growing community of believers.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of North Florida and my Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Saint Leo University. I also studied at Reformed Theological Seminary and obtained my Selah certificate in spiritual direction through the Leadership Transformations, Inc.
Amber and I were married in 1999. We have three children: Morgan, Daniel, and Jacob. We enjoy walking Florida beaches, hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains, going horseback riding, and spending time with family. I am fond of reading George MacDonald, C.S. Lewis, and other Christian authors. I also enjoy writing, singing, painting, drawing, and weightlifting.
