"Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.”

1 Chronicles 16:29 (NIV)

Through worship we come together as one body to glorify God.  Our worship services are practical, relevant and, hopefully, inspiring.  Each service has its own unique flavor and identity; however, all services involve preaching, scripture, prayer, music, giving, and other expressions of faith which honor God and provide authentic experiences of worship for the individual believer.

Although we offer options with regard to worship style, we have a deep commitment to biblical truth. Another main focus of all of our worship services is our love and passion for the triune God, the object of our worship experience.

Our worship music ranges from classic hymns and choruses to gospel and praise songs. It is not how we express worship – there is not one style of music that is superior in worshipping God. We see music as a tool that we use to express our love and devotion to Him.

8:15 AM - Traditional

Our traditional worship in the sanctuary offers scripture, a biblical message, the Lord's Prayer, the confession of sin and assurance of pardon, the corporate invocation of creed, and the doxology.  Our music includes choir and a mixture of choruses and classic hymns.

9:45 AM - Contemporary

Our contemporary worship starts with a rock-inspired praise band and modern music. Meeting in the Living Room, this service is geared toward those for whom church has always been intimidating.

11:00 AM - Blended

Our blended worship in the sanctuary includes scripture, a biblical message, corporate Lord's Prayer, confession of sin and assurance of pardon, and doxology.  Music at this service mixes the traditional hymns with contemporary praise music, using choir and brass ensemble.

12:30 PM - Hispanic

The Holy Nation Church meets in our Living Room on Sunday afternoons at 12:30 PM. Led by Pastor Luis R. Quiñones, this congregation of the EPC denomination, provides a warm and spiritual service for our Hispanic friends.

Sunday Morning Children's Ministry

Children are welcome in our worship services! We know that God put wiggles in children. Don’t feel as if you have to “shush” them in church. They will learn liturgical behavior by copying yours. Ask an usher for a Children’s Worship Bulletin, which offers hands-on activities for ages 3-12.fpc-nursery1

If your infant becomes fussy, we also offer a crying room, located directly next to the nursery.  Remember, our nursery has qualified individuals to care for your children (infants-3 year olds). To reduce your anxieties, a pager is given to each parent.

Kids Kingdom Praise and Worship is offered for children (preschool-5th grade) during our 9:45 AM worship service. Kids Kingdom Life Group meets during the 11 AM worship service for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Younger children can join in on the fun in the nursery throughout the 9:45 and 11 AM services.
