"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,"

 Matthew 28:19 (NIV)

FPC is blessed to walk along side of many missionaries, both locally and internationally. These missionaries, and their families, need our prayers. Often called far from their homes, missionaries find themselves on the frontlines in the fight against lostness. Missionaries can also find themselves up against forces that don’t want to see the Lord’s Kingdom advanced and will stop at nothing to hinder their efforts to spread the Good News. This is why we must always keep missionaries in our prayers.

Take a moment and say a short prayer for these individuals. Our prayers for missionaries should always be that they stand in God's armor and that their service as servants of God be not in their own strength but in the grace and strength of the LORD. We can pray for the missionary's protection from evil and that their daily needs be provided.

Pray for open doors - that God will lead His people past barriers to hearts ready to receive his Word.
Pray for boldness in witness - that the Spirit will provide them with words that communicate effectively in other cultures and languages.
Pray that God’s Word will spread - that God’s Word will indeed spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes.
Pray for protection - that God will keep Christian workers safe from those who seek to hurt them.
Pray for their ministry - that colleagues and fellow believers will be supportive.
Pray for guidance - for clear guidance from God regarding decisions.
Pray for refreshment - that God will provide times of peace and relaxation to refresh his workers.

Amen!  Now read about their latest accomplishments and trials.
