New Service Times
"He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning."
Daniel 2:21 (NIV)
We want to take a moment to thank you for helping FPC achieve its mission of “glorifying God by changing lives through the message of Jesus Christ” in NE Polk County and beyond. We are deeply grateful for your prayers, flexibility, financial support, commitment, and constructive feedback. We appreciate your ongoing support and for the help of so many of you volunteering your time and talents to make it all happen.
We also want to take a moment to thank the Lord for His abiding faithfulness and lovingkindness. It is because of Him that FPC Haines City continues to flourish and grow as a church.
This winter, we saw as many as 700 worshippers attending our two blended services and another 300 attending our traditional and contemporary worship services each Sunday. Given our current worship spaces, we would not have been able to comfortably seat everyone without the additional worship service, so this was a timely expansion. We also made a variety of improvements, including enhanced access to those with handicaps and disabilities, which we will continue in the months to come.
Now, as we approach the end of our peak season, we are preparing to return to our non-peak Sunday schedule. This will necessitate some modest changes.
Beginning April 5, we will offer the following schedule:
Traditional Service: 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM, Sanctuary
Sunday School: 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM, Education Room, Chapel
Contemporary Service: 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM, Living Room
Kids Kingdom: 9:45 AM – 11:00 AM, Kids Kingdom (9:30 check-in)
Blended Service: 11:00 AM – 12 noon, Sanctuary
Youth Life Group: 11:00 AM – 12 noon, Youth Room
Children’s Life Group: 11:00 AM – 12 noon, Kids Kingdom (10:45 check-in)
Sunday Connect: 11:00 AM – 12 noon, Library
Infant/Toddler Care: 8:15 AM – 12 noon, Nursery (newborn-preschool)
As we make this switch back to our non-peak Sunday schedule, we again ask for your prayers, flexibility, financial support, commitment, and constructive feedback. God is in control, and we trust that He will continue to bless FPC so long as we are faithful in preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in making disciples, and working to grow His Kingdom. God is good!
