Youth Summer Camp – Jun 11-15

Youth Camp will be held the week of June 11-15 at Southeastern University in Lakeland, part of the Student Life experience.   Our Believers, both middle school and high school, will attend together, participating in different camps during the day.

What is Student Life? It is an inter-denominational, evangelical ministry serving the local church. Student Life offers a week-long, Christ-centered experience for 7th-12th graders. It includes engaging worship from experienced worship leaders, learning through sound biblical teaching and Bible study, and community in Family Groups. It's a week of focused learning, heartfelt praise, dramas, community building, teamwork, and most importantly, God's Word on center stage.

Student Life Camp 2018 will explore the characteristics of Yahweh, the one and only living God (Deuteronomy 6:4), as experienced by Moses in Exodus 3-4. Rather than reduce God to a single attribute like "love" or "judge," students will encounter an Almighty creator God who is above us, with us in His Son Jesus (who declared His own divinity with the "I AM" statements recorded in John), and worthy of our trust because He will never change or fail. Unlike our current culture which suffers from intense "god" confusion, students will have a clear picture of not only God's character but also how He relates to His children. They will return home with a firm theological and relational foundation to form a God-centered worldview and decision-making process.

So save the dates:  June 11-15.  Sign ups and non-refundable registration was due by April 30.  All attendees must have a current emergency medical release form on file with the church office. Please contact Rachel Bork at rachel@fpchainescity.org  with any questions.

Our high school students will be enjoying the MISSIONS camp, helping in the community and earning service hours. This camp schedule balances youth serving others as the hands and feet of Christ and experiencing God personally in Bible study and corporate worship.

The middle school students will attend the REC camp, which involves outside activities, games and team competition. This camp schedule creates a fun, community-building atmosphere for youth to engage the Bible and Jesus Christ on a deeper level. The events are designed for students entering 7th grade and up. Sorry, programming is not designed to accommodate students younger than this.
