"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, ..."
Matthew 25:35 (NIV)
One of the ways in which FPC serves the community is through a food pantry that we offer on Wednesdays and Fridays. We make available bags of canned goods, breads, rice, and other food staples to anyone from the local area in need.
FPC thanks the congregation for their past support through monetary gifts, time served at the food pantry, and food donations. But the need continues.
As you browse the aisles at Publix, Wal-Mart, or Target, please keep an eye open for special sales or BOGO offers. Our food pantry can make use of food staples for families in our community. We need items that have a long shelf life, like canned fruits and vegetables, cereals, pop tarts, pastas, rice, jarred sauces, peanut butter, jelly, crackers, soups, canned meat or tuna fish, baked beans, mac and cheese mixes, Hamburger or Tuna Helper, to name a few.
If you are unable to shop, please consider a monetary donation to this worthy ministry.
Help us to help those less fortunate in our community.
